Fused Glass Christmas Decs with Jazz Dixon

Add some Christmas sparkle to your festive season and join glass expert Jazz to create a selection of Christmas decorations in fused glass.

We will start with a brief talk and introduction to fused glass and the range of materials available. We will look at the different types of glass fusion and how the material can be used to create different types of designs. There will be lots of materials available and you will be encouraged to play and create your own unique designs.

After our introduction you will chose the projects you wish to work on. You can choose from a Christmas tree or an s curved Christmas panel, or a tealight holder/bowl. You will learn how to cut and break glass safely to create your design, using a range of colours, with the help and guidance from the expert.

Your second project of the day will be to create up to 3 small tree decorations. You will have a choice of materials and a range of designs to inspire you as you create your own personal pieces. Jazz will then take your designs for firing, and your finished decorations will be posted to you within approximately three weeks—in time to enjoy in the build up to Christmas!
